A year as an exchange student will give you knowledge, impressions, inspiration and memories. It’s your chance to experience something new and exciting. Simply put, it will be the best year of your life!

Suddenly, you speak the language fluently

The major advantage of learning a language in the country where it is spoken is that you will hear it all the time. You’ll hear it at the dinner table in conversation with your host family, at school, at the gym, at cafés and in stores. Your accent will improve continuously. You will learn new words and expressions. Before you know it, you will have adapted to all of these new things, and at the same time, you will have grown as a person. It happens almost automatically, and it’s fun!
