What is an exchange year in high school?
An exchange year lets you experience high school in a completely new setting – another country, another culture, another language. You become part of everyday life: going to classes, making new friends, and sharing meals with a host family. It’s not a study trip or a short break – it’s real life, just somewhere new.

Who can join?
Our programs are for high school students aged 14 to 18 who are curious about the world and ready for a new experience. Whether you want to improve your English in the USA, UK, or Australia, experience high school life in Japan, spend a year in a small town in France, or prepare for future university studies – there’s a program and destination for you.
You don’t need to have traveled before – we’ll guide you through every step, from your first question to your first day abroad. All you need is an open mind and a sense of adventure.

Live like a local with a host family
In most of our programs, you’ll live with a carefully selected host family – and that’s one of the best parts of the whole experience. You’ll become part of everyday life: joining family dinners, hanging out on weekends, celebrating local holidays, and learning how things really work in your new country. It’s not just a place to stay – it’s a second home.
Our host families are chosen with care and supported by our local teams. We stay in touch to make sure everything feels safe, comfortable, and right for you – so you can focus on having the time of your life.
